Background factor of Problem behavior

Conflict:
Often there is some psychological conflict in the background. The common conflict occurs when parental or family standards differ from the standards of the school. It very often happens that children who come form homes where the cultural pattern is quite different from that of the teacher or the other students will have great difficulty in adjusting to the expectations.

Anxiety:
Anxiety as a cause and effect of problem behavior. According to the developmental scheme of behavior, human behavior may be viewed in terms of attempts to meet basic needs or to cope with real. When we feel apprehensive about our ability to maintain satisfactory relations with other, the feeling that ordinarily results is anxiety.

Emotional Disturbance:
An emotionally disabled child will become socially anxious and withdrawn in public. When faced with risks or decisions, however trivial, she will become tense and fearful. She will have extremely poor self-esteem, and may seem have a distorted sense of reality, usually preferring to live in her own fantasy world. These children will often internalize their feelings and emotions, and have difficulty talking about them when asked. Occasionally they may lash out and hurt others out of fear and a desire to be left alone.

Social Environment;
Many instances of problem behavior that come to the attention of school authorities are acts that are acceptable to people living in rural and urban poverty communities. Example of such behavior are arguments accompanied by screaming and cursing, fighting with clubs and knives, destruction of property, and sexual aggression.

Poverty:
Poverty is the primary threat to a child's overall health and his ability to effectively learn. Children tend to have emotional and social problems when they live with low-income families, and these risks increase when youth experience continuous poverty beginning at a young age.

Lack of Attention:
Attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) can be the cause of many behavioral school problems among children. The inability to pay attention and the constant impulsive and overactive behavior makes school a challenging place for children afflicted with ADHD.

School phobia:
School phobia is characterized in its earlier stages by habitual tardiness, in the its later stages, even taking a child close to his school may bring on outbursts of crying, temper tantrums, nausea, vomiting, blind running, diarrhea and loss of bladder control, as active resistance on the form of biting, kicking, holding the breath and fainting.
Discourage:
Teachers can impress to their student with various techniques such as use the psychological technique, improve the classroom environment etc. If the teachers fail to impress of the children then students goes to discourage.

Failuring:
In the later stage of middle school development, setting appropriate boundaries will teach children where it is and is not appropriate to challenge authority. This sets the stage for the rest of their human development. Children who properly learn this skill can go on to create change in the world while children who fail to learn this skill may become anti-social.
