This is the website where kids and children have fun while learning to read. Your child can learn to read and you can help to teach them. Since the fall of 2002, this website has provided a free public service to teach kids and children to read by using phonics. Anyone who wants to learn how to read can use the website since it is free. However, it is probably most designed for younger children and it uses phonics as a base of its educational efforts. The children have fun while they learn because the 'lessons' are in the format of phonic games and all kids love to play games. So these lessons are probably most suited for preschoolers, kindergarten, first and second graders, homeschool, special education and English language development students of ESL, ELD and ELL.
Starfall now has released their Kindergarten Reading and Language Arts curriculum program. They present the materials in a format that is fun for the learner which is a motivating factor for the kids. They also have the Starfall Store for low cost complimentary reading, phonics journals and additional materials. The educational and learning website is presented in a simple and basic format that helps to keep it straightforward in design.

The website's learning segments are broken down into four sections and they are:

• It's Fun to Read, and has an art gallery, magic and more
• I'm Reading, and has plays, nonfiction, comics and more.
They also provide a download center where you can view and print the downloads. The Starfall printed materials include Level-I reading and writing journal, Level-I cut-up and take home books, Level-I reading awards and Level-II reading and writing journal. The online printouts include Level-K ABC printouts, Phonics puzzle activities and online book printouts. You will also see plenty of third-party testimonials of happy parents.
