Recipe - Boil a Blue Crab - Yumm!
Boiled Crabs:
8 new red potatoes
4 ears fresh corn
2 lemons, quartered
4 small yellow onions
1 cup salt
1/2 cup ground black pepper
1/2 cup ground red pepper
1/2 cup ground white pepper
12 - 15 blue crabs live
Simple and easy recipe. First fill a large ( 8 to 10-quart) stockpot one-third full with water. Next, add the potatoes, corn, lemons, onions, salt, and peppers. Cover the crab stockpot and bring to a boil over high heat. Let the water boil for 10 minutes. Add the live blue crabs, cover, and return to boil. Once the steam starts to escape from under the lid cover, let the crabs cook for 15 minutes. Turn off the heat and let sit, covered, for 8 - 10 more minutes. Lay the crabs and vegetables out on a large table covered with lots of paper and have a great time eating delicious crab, cajun style.
