A Walmart Money Card is a prepaid Visa debit card that can be loaded with cash. The Walmart Money Card can be used at ATM machines and retailers that accept Visa debit cards. The Walmart Money Cards can be used for up to one year as long at the balance is greater than zero dollars. Once the funds are used on the card, Walmart Money Card holders can add additional funds within 60 days.
First they have the Wal-Mart credit card now its the so called Wal-Mart money card. Basically the Wal-Mart money card is a reloadable debit card that you can use at Wal-Mart and other retail locations.
The advantages of getting this card over say a credit card is that there is no credit check and you can't spend money that you don't have. But this is also one of the drawbacks. Having this card isn't going to help your credit in any way either and unless you don't have a bank account, I'm not sure what the point is of having this card.
