Visit http://my.apexfitness.com/arc/home.php and follow the instructions to create a myapex account. You need to find out the serial number of your bodybugg first, which can be used in the enrollment process. Enter the serial number located on the right side of the armband when prompted, and create a unique username and password for the bodybugg/myapex account. Place your Bodybugg armband somewhere to be charged, and log in to www.bodybugg.com/login.php using your username and password. Accept the "terms and conditions" and open the Bodybugg program. Fill out the food preferences questionnaire and enter your personal body measurements. Click "go" to download the installer. On a PC: Click "run" and follow instructions to install the Bodybugg software on your computer. Close all browsers while the program installs. Accept the license agreement and click "next," then click "next" again and finally click "finish." On a Mac: Click "continue" on the license agreement and then click "install," and then click "continue installation." Restart your computer. Attach one end of the USB cable to the armband and another to your computer. Log in to the Bodybugg website again to continue registering. Click "register armband" to sync the Bodybugg with your online account. Click "close" when the sync is finished.
Place the Bodybugg armband on the back of your left arm on the tricep. Make sure it's the left arm, not the right. Adjust the strap and secure to keep the armband from sliding off. Leave on throughout the day to track your daily calorie expenditure. Use the Bodybugg during workouts and when you're idle to track the full amount of calories used during the day. Remove the armband at night and have it charged.
