Go to http://webmail.optimum.net/ for sign in or login to your optimum webmail. According to eHow.com, Before you use this email address, it must be set up. All Country Cablevision email accounts are accessed and managed using the Gmail email platform. and follow my instruction.
1. Open a Web browser and navigate to the Country Cablevision webmail login page. (See Resources.) Type in the username and password you were given at the time of starting service with Country Cablevision.
2. Click the gray "Sign in" button to continue. Select "English (US)" or your preferred language from the drop-down menu on the page you are brought to. Enter the characters displayed in the CAPTCHA image.
3. Read through Google's Terms of Service for using the Gmail platform. Confirm that you agree to abide by the terms of service by clicking the gray "I accept. Create my account." button. You will be brought to the inbox for your email account. Your Country Cablevision email account will now be set up and ready to use.
