If you lost your Medicare card, You can get one without leaving your home. Just go online to www.socialsecurity.gov/ onlineservices and select "Request for Medicare Replacement Card," which is the first option on the page. You will then need to answer a few questions, and a new card will be mailed to your address in about 30 days. If you need proof of coverage sooner, you can also request a verification letter, which you will receive in the mail in about 10 days.
