This service is provided as a convenience to our customers. If this web site is unavailable at any time, it does not eliminate your responsibility to file your unemployment insurance claim. If you are unable to complete your claim using the internet, please contact your local Unemployment Insurance office.

When you can use this system?
Hours: The Internet Claims System is available 7 days a week, 24 hours per day for claim filing. You may experience outages on Sunday from 10:00 AM to noon eastern time while maintenance is done on the servers.
To request your bi-weekly benefit check, the Internet Claims System is available Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM until 7:00 PM and Sunday from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM eastern time.
Maintenance: The Internet Claims System will be down for maintenance periodically. When there is a scheduled maintenance, we will post it here. Every attempt will be made to inform users of the system status.
During the process of filing your unemployment claim, you need the following information
* Your Social Security number, address and phone number.
* Your Personal Identification Number (PIN), if you are re-starting your existing claim or requesting your benefit check.
* Company names, addresses, dates and phone numbers of your employers during the past 18 months.
* Your Alien Registration number is required if you are not a U.S. citizen.
If you do not have this information available please gather it before continuing to file your claim. The filing process takes, on average, 30 minutes to complete. Please allow enough time to complete the process.
Using a Public Computer? If you are using a computer in a public place, logoff or close the browser when you are finished entering information. This is for your protection and will prevent someone else from viewing your claim information.

KRS 341.990 (5) Any person who knowingly makes a false statement or representation of a material fact or knowingly fails to disclose a material fact to the secretary to obtain or increase any benefit under this chapter or under an employment security law of any other state, or of the federal government, either for himself or for any other person, business entity, or organization shall be guilty of a Class A misdemeanor unless the value of the benefits procured or attempted to be procured is one hundred dollars ($100) or more, in which case he will be guilty of a Class D felony.
